Maria V. Chatila is a wife and a mother to three beautiful children, a qualified and very experienced educator, a life coach, a storyteller and an inspirational speaker. She started her career in 1995 in Quebec, Canada as a nursery teacher in a bilingual nursery. From 1996 to 2008 she worked exclusively as a classroom teacher for various schools in the United Arab Emirates offering her expertise and enthusiasm to all of her students and colleagues. In 2003, she took her passion for reading and inspiring young children to enjoy books and began retelling stories to children in bookshops and schools using her own highly motivational method of creating deep interest and enthusiasm with the children. Throughout her career as an educator, she attended dozens of development workshops and programs to enhance her understanding of learning with adults and children, as well as mentoring student teachers and colleagues. In 2007, Maria decided to follow her passion for developing individuals and qualified as a life coach. She is a member of the International Coaching Federation. Today, Maria dedicates her time to educating and inspiring individuals with her highly successful skills and strategies. She aspires to become a renowned international life coach; an inspirational speaker and author. She thrives on using her passion to spark serious interest and curiosity from the individuals that she meets every-day. Maria is a proud Canadian born in Montreal, Quebec. She holds a Bachelor of Arts with a dual Major in Child Studies and Sociology from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec. She also holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from Sunderland University in the United Kingdom. She holds a Certificate of Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the Higher Colleges of Technology in the United Arab Emirates. She is a certified Life Coach holding a diploma in Management Coaching & Mentoring from Coaching and Mentoring Middle East as well as completing ORSC(TM) with the Center for Right Relationship.
