| | Coach Spotlight is like a theatre – there is a front stage and a back stage.
The front stage has been designed for our audience - individuals, small business owners and managers or employees of large corporations seeking information and advice about personal and business issues.
We are 100% committed to creating a consistently superior client experience for our audience, in the same way as a theatre is committed to delivering performances that entertain and engage their audiences.
The back stage is where the performers gather to prepare for their roles. The back stage at Coach Spotlight is where you prepare your profile and information that will help you build relationships with your audience.
How do you build relationships with people over the Internet? John Jansch, author of Duct Tape Marketing defines marketing as “getting people to know, like and trust you.” If you decide to become a contributor at any of The Spotlight Network websites, we would like 100% of your efforts to be directed to that goal – to get people in our audience to “to know, like and trust you”.
Within Coaches Spotlight, you have two major tools to achieve this goal – The Coach Spotlight Profile and your contributions.
The Coach Profile Spotlight is your biography that helps people to get to know you. When people come to our “theatre”, they have the opportunity to browse through the “program” to learn more about our “cast”. You control your profile. You can post a photo, company logo and a biography that contains your education, work experience, training and anything special about you. You also have the ability to record an interview and have it posted on your Profile.
Next, you have the opportunity to contribute articles, in the form of blogs, to Coach Spotlight. Here’s where you have the chance to get people to like and trust you. Blogs are the key driver of content to our website. When you become a member of our site, you will be asked to provide us with the RSS feed to your blog. We program this into our website and every time you post a blog on your website or blogging platform, like Blogger or Typepad, your blog appears, almost magically, on Coach Spotlight. Other than writing and posting your blogs, there is no extra work for you.
If you have been blogging for years, we would like you to post all of your blogs on Coach Spotlight. Let’s say you have been writing a blog each month for the past five years. We would like you to contribute all sixty of your blogs. This will not only improve our visitor’s client experience but will give you great exposure to help attract clients to your business.
Content is a major success factor for Coach Spotlight. High quality, relevant content leads to more visits from the spiders at Google, leading to more traffic to the site, leading to more visits to your Profile and blog contributions, leading to more business for you. We constantly communicate traffic statistics to our contributors and use this information to make changes that will benefit everyone.
Visitors can find you by searching by geographic region or coaching specialty, learn about your background, experience, training and specialty, and read a wide range of your published articles to help them get to know, like and trust you before they contact you.

There are two membership levels for Coach Spotlight – Basic and Premium.
Basic membership (Free) includes:
• A full page Coach Spotlight Profile that you build and manage. Your Profile includes a personal or business biography and photo plus links to your website, blogs and contact information. Think of this as a mini website for your business. It even has a url personalized to you.
• As a member, you give us the web address to your Blog and we program Coach Spotlight to pick up the feed so that every time you post a blog, it is automatically directed to us for review and posting.
• The middle column of the home page will show the twenty most recently posted blogs to give Basic Members quality exposure.
Premium Membership ($100 per year) includes:
• A full page Coach Spotlight Profile that you build and manage. Your Profile includes a personal or business biography and photo plus links to your website, blogs and contact information. Think of this as a mini website for your business. It even has a url personalized to you.
• As a member, you give us the web address to your Blog and we program Coach Spotlight to pick up the feed so that every time you post a blog, it is automatically directed to us for review and posting.
• Premium members can improve their Profile by adding a Coach Interview. We send Premium Members a suggested script and interview login details, and you arrange a telephone interview with a friend or colleague that can be posted on your Profile.
• Mini Profiles – a shortened version of your profile will be randomly posted on the home page and up to two of the coaching specialty pages. There will be as many as 66 Coach Spotlight Profiles posted on all pages in the right column to give Premium Members increased exposure. Each time a page is refreshed, new mini profiles are displayed.
• The left column of the home page is dedicated to Premium Members’ blog postings. This column is divided into ten sections, based on the website’s navigation tabs. Each section shows the five most recent postings of Premium Members.
• Our goal is to give Premium Members five times the exposure of Basic Members.
